Airport layovers

We are specialised in airport layover tours. Whenever you are having a couple of hours of waiting time ahead on Schiphol airport we can pick you up and take you birding.

Close to Airport Schiphol there is plenty of good birds to see in good numbers. During winter different kind of geese are present in high numbers. Most of them are Barnacle geese, Pink-Footed and White-fronted but sometimes a Red-breasted or a Lesser White-fronted shows up among them. Both. Goosander, Smew, Goldeneye, Red-crested Pochard, Great Grey Shrike and Lesser Spotted Woodpecker can be found in the dunes while Firecrest, Marsh Tit and Crested Tit also can be found here.

During spring Bluethroat, Willow Warbler, Nightingale, Lesser Whitethroat and many other songbirds can be seen and heard while we are watching Black-necked Grebe, Garganey, and Little Ringed Plover. Any other target birds are always possible and you should just let us know to see what we can do.
